
Ingredients

▻▷ | 15g | ½ cup | Puffed amaranth |
▻▷ | 80g | ½ cup | Chia seeds |
▻▷ | 45g | ½ cup | Sliced almonds |
▻▷ | 60g | ½ cup | Dried cherries |
▻▷ | 90g | ½ cup | Choppeddark chocolate |
▻▷ | 190g | ¾ cup | Creamy almond butter |
▻▷ | 110g | ⅓ cup | Honey |
▻▷ | 140g | ½ cup | Fruit puree |
▻▷ | 2g | ½ tsp | Sea salt |
▻▷ | 30g | 2 tbsp | Cocoa butter or coconut oil |
Directions:
- In a bowl, mix together the oats, amaranth, chia seeds, sliced almonds, dried cherries and dark chocolate;
- In a small pan on low heat, combine the almond butter, the cocoa butter and the honey. Once well mixed, add fruit puree and salt;
- Add the mixture into the bowl with the oats and combine;
- Lay a ½ inch thick layer on a tray covered with parchment paper pressing down on the mixture to make it more compact;
- Place in the fridge until firm, roughly 1 hour. Cut into a rectangular/bar shape;
- Enjoy your healthy and nutritious snack!
Yield: approximately 18 to 20 bars.
Storage:up to 3 weeks in the fridge in an airtight container.
